“I love seeing the evolution of the design process from conception to completion. It really is like cooking—combining all those ingredients, the right proportions, and timing into one cohesive, satisfying result.”
From the beginning, Stefanie has kept IWDFF’s creative fires burning and its wheels turning.
Stefanie and Jake first met on a photo shoot in 2001, then became colleagues four years later when she interned at the marketing/PR firm where Jake was employed. Their working relationship continued over her next job (marketing for a real estate developer), eventually evolving into the ultimate partnership. They quit their jobs, started IWDFF, moved to Sydney, Australia and got married. Eight years and three cities later, they welcomed their first baby (that is, if you don’t count their business or their fur-child, Brio).

Stefanie entered FSU on a scholarship with plans to study Computer Engineering (thanks, Dad!), but quickly discovered graphic design’s more appetizing blend of creativity plus technology.
