The Concept
Nigel’s Bananas offers Belgium chocolate-covered frozen bananas and treats in the iconic beach community of Seaside, Florida. Originally tested as a pop-up shop and now in their permanent location, Nigel’s quickly became a popular stop for visitors and locals alike.
The Special Sauce
Because of their location within such a nostalgic beach community, it was important the design reflected this imagery throughout. From the 70’s style gradient lines within the logo to the throwback airstream design and bold vibrant colors, we created a marketable brand - a hit with both the kids and their parents. One of the biggest compliments we get is when patrons ask if Nigel’s is an existing franchise!

“There are a lot of talented graphic designers out there, but they often aren’t smart business owners. Jake Meyer is both. He’s extremely creative and delivers on time. Whenever we ask for anything, he gives us much more. His branding is so polished and professional that customers often ask if we’re a franchise. We sold more than 500 pieces of t-shirts, hats, frisbees and other merchandise in the first month. We’re considering launching another restaurant concept and will depend on Jake to help us name it before we do anything else.”
